No, he's got blazing fast internet.

It's not a GIF problem, it's a browser problem.

 

I hate to say it but I can only conclude it's an issue on his end simply because out of all the members I have heard from he seems to be the only one having issues. I can only assume there are some settings either on his browser or internet connection that are causing the issues.

 

The site is extremely fast for me. Best that it has ever ran. Nice work SRW!!

The awards are cool, but if the sites faster without them to hell with them.

 

Well as I have said in other threads, we know that our members love the awards and for now they are on hold, the mod that we used to put them here has issues and we're looking into either fixing it if we can or finding another mod that would be compatible with our version of vbulletin that won't slow down the site in the process.

 

I can't get my favorite smilies to appear. They are checked and saved but the default ones show up in quick reply box drop down menu

 

I believe one of the mods we got rid of before we moved to our dedicated server was the smilie one, once we get everything working we'll see about returning that mod.

Well there goes my thought on it all...Mine are also there, I never bothered to look...lol But not all of them I'll ask Steve about it tonight, some of them may be corrupt because they aren't showing up.

The favorites are just the 12 that you can save to use on the site quickly. The custom are ones that you brought from another site or somewhere on the net, downloaded the URL and put them in your favs. to use as one of the 12. There isn't a separate favs and custom to use, WR you may be confused, maybe you lost some of your with the move, I did.

 

How do I access the favorite ones then?

 

in your UserCP click the Settings and Options Edit Favorite Smilies it will take you to the default smilies and thats all the smilies we have those are the fav. smilies, if you like one you'll see where you can check the one(s) you want to keep in your custom area but you can't save more then 12 so you must delete a custom one to add one from the default area.

I did that. The default ones are still showing up. That's why I posted originally.

Yes WR but you first must delete 1 of the ones that you have before you can save 1 like the wave as you can only save 12

 

Same here...I have all my customs, am able to check my favorites under user cp, but then they don't show...
