If the Cowboys are going to alter the video screen hanging from the middle of their new stadium, a source claims it'll cost them $2 million. Titans punter A.J. Trapasso hit the board in Friday's preseason game, the first-ever game played at Cowboys Stadium. Dallas owner Jerry Jones insists that the entire building, including the 60 by 25 yard television screen was OKed by the NFL. Source: ESPN.com
I saw during the pregames that JJ was watching the dude hit it like 3 times and then went over and shook his hand and spoke to him in what looked like a pleasant exchange - I'm sure they'll tend to it, JJ has gone 'spare no expense' on this one.
the ball would have to be made of lead and shot out of a cannon to damage that screen, its annoying more than its a hazard to the screen, fans or players
You don't move it so people won't snitch about it, you move it because the jerrah compensator shouldn't be in the freaking field of play.
They said that the screen was 5 feet above the NFL minimum clearance but it looks like that have plenty of room to move it up.
It'll get moved, it's just a question of who pays for it? It's probably gonna be the NFL since they approved it. A Dallas correspondent on the Dan Patrick show just called Jerry Jones "rich-folk poor." Said he's got about 650mil tied up in it. So, in the grand scheme of things he's still rich, he just can't get to all his assets right now.
