The Dallas Cowboys reiterated Monday that they followed league guidelines in hanging their video board at Cowboys Stadium 90 feet above the field. The Cowboys spokesman the video board will be raised temporarily at the end of September to accommodate a 100-foot stage for a concert featuring the rock band U2. "The board will be inoperable at that height and will not be utilized during the show," the spokesman said. "Following the U2 concert, the board will return to its standard height of 90 feet above the field." While Jones is adamant about keeping the video board at 90 feet, a few players said Monday the club probably should consider raising the video board. Source: MySanAntonio.com
Jerry wants them to move it back down because the way the Video Screens are set up that the 90 foot mark is the best visual picture they can get from the monitor, if they move it up, the picture gets hecked up and the screens become half of what they were...lol. I think in the league "rule book" which is old as dirt, the rule states that they can't have an obstruction lower than 85 feet...Jerry went 90...to be safe...lol.
If they hit the scoreboard, give them the ball at the 40. The scoreboard is out of bounds...when they kickoff out of bounds, they place it on the 40...do the same when a punt hits the scoreboard...done.
