Chiefs Quarterback Matt Cassel said the offense ran a screen pass against a safety blitz, and Head Coach Todd Haley instructed the offense to run the same play. Cassel admitted Wednesday that he was confused by Haley's order. "I'm like: 'They just saw the screen pass,' " Cassel said. "We ran it again, so I think it is one of those points of emphasis that you just have to make things happen, and it's not going to always be perfect in the game. And even if it's not, we've got to try and make this go."

Because there's intense interest here in KC about how the new team is coming together.

Being a Kansas native, I've witnessed the Chiefs make some really bone head moves over the years... Stealing Cassel away from the Donkeys is IMO the best thing this team has done in years!!!!

The jury is still out on that one...

Just having the regime change means more to me than getting Cassel...

depends... watching the Chiefs "play" every Sunday as a kid I learned what not do for sure... Even when the Chiefs had great teams the coaches and/or management would F' things up... but thats when i became a Raider fan 4 Life

holy crap a rams fan! crap you guys suck so bad nobody talks about them. And yes i do believe we are ahead of both Doncos and chefs this season. But not bymuch. I think cassel is a bit over his head. hes got no protection and will be running for his life. I think Thigpen is there best option and he might be going to the jags for picks.

I just can't see Jamarcus Russel leading a team to many wins....I've been wrong before and there's no doubt the Chiefs and Broncos have a lot of questions as well.

I'm not even talking about where we will finish in the division.

I just want to win 5 or 6 games.

  19. chiefswin19games

    chiefswin19games Don't be defeated.

I'd like to finish with 19 but I'm delusional.

Raiders aren't a better team. Talent wise maybe. As an organization, no way.

I guess the 2 he led against a team riding a 4 game winning streak and another one, 1 win from the playoffs dont count for anything. The Dude has the skills he just need to put them together and when he does watch out.
