I will list some of the young players trying to make the 53 man roster. Keiwan Ratliff Stefan Logan Shawn McDonald Bruce Davis Ramon Foster Isaac Redman Frank "The Tank" Summers Brandon Williams Joe Burnett Ra'Shon Harris David Johnson Keenan Lewis Martin Nance (Cut) Mike Reilly A.Q. Shipley Dallas Baker Justin Vincent Donovan Woods I've named 18 players (could have named a few more but those are no brainers.) Of the 18 you name 12 to keep on the roster, 3 for practice squad and 3 that will not be on the team. This is simply for fun and no those numbers aren't accurate. I'll go first. Keiwan Ratliff (Makes Team) Stefan Logan (Makes Team) Shawn McDonald (Makes Team) Bruce Davis (Makes Team) Ramon Foster (Makes Team) Isaac Redman (Makes Team) Frank "The Tank" Summers (PS) Brandon Williams (Cut) Joe Burnett (Makes Team) Ra'Shon Harris (Makes Team) David Johnson (Makes Team) Keenan Lewis (Makes Team) Martin Nance (Cut) Mike Reilly (Cut) A.Q. Shipley (Makes Team) Dallas Baker (PS) Justin Vincent (PS) Donovan Woods (Makes Team) **********Automerged Doublepost********** FAIL
Keiwan Ratliff-makes team Stefan Logan-makes team Shaun McDonald-makes team Bruce Davis-makes team Ramon Foster-makes team Isaac Redman-practice squad Frank "The Tank" Summers-cut Brandon Williams-cut Joe Burnett-makes team Ra'Shon Harris-practice squad David Johnson-makes team Keenan Lewis-makes team Martin Nance-cut Mike Reilly-cut A.Q. Shipley-practice squad Dallas Baker-cut Justin Vincent-cut Donovan Woods-makes team also think korte makes practice quad
You think Dallas Baker and Justin Vincent finally get cut? lol, wouldn't bother me one bit. They seem to be just taking up practice squad spots.
i do lol... they have never done anything and i think grisham will get a spot on the practice squad with the opening days WRs looking like Holmes Ward Sweed Wallace Mcdonald issac redman has steeler fans on his nuts and hes sooooooooooooo much better than that terrible waste of a pick summers but hes still very raw and would find himself in a crowded backfield while logan could contribute right now.
im not getting to excited about him just yet, he has an uphill battle to make the team but i would prefer him over redman and summers without a doubt. i think mcdonald is handling most the PR duty in the next game
I'm not too worried about a punt returner McDonald and Moore are both safe picks, they may not return one for much yardage but they won't turn the ball over either.
Do you think Ratliff will play alot this year? He seems to be anxious for the opportunity and I like him alot.
not sure hes a crapty return man and while he is a capable nickel corner i think as the goes on he will be buried on the depth chart as the 6th corner behind ike, gay, deshea, burnett, lewis.....lewis and burnett have both been impressive enough to possible push ratliff for a job. burnett had a bad game against washington but when you really watch him hes a mini tackling machine and has got great form. lewis is drawing alot of praise as being alot like ike, hes bigger and much slower than ike but has been playing very physical. im not entirely sure ratliff makes the team since 6 CBs is not necessary especially when only one of them (burnett) can return kicks....cause ratliff is terrible at it
Keiwan Ratliff - Makes Team Stefan Logan - Makes Team Shawn McDonald - Makes Team Bruce Davis - Makes Team Ramon Foster - Makes Team Isaac Redman - CUT Frank "The Tank" Summers - CUT Brandon Williams - PRACTICE Joe Burnett - Makes Team Ra'Shon Harris - PRACTICE David Johnson - Makes Team Keenan Lewis - Makes Team Martin Nance - CUT Mike Reilly - CUT A.Q. Shipley - PRACTICE Dallas Baker - CUT Justin Vincent - PRACTICE Donovan Woods - Makes Team I think Stepanovich is cut and Legursky finds a way to make the team. I'm also thinking Sean McHugh gets cut. If he some how makes the team, Johnson will probably go practice squad. I think Johnson is a better special teams guy than McHugh so I think that could keep him on the active roster, plus McHugh is hampered with an injury right now...
The one thing Ratliff has going for him is he can play safety too if needed, but so can Townsend. You're right he may be the odd man out. He will get a job as a nickle db elsewhere if that's the case.
Are people really that excited about him? It was fun to toy with his name and throw it around for a day or two, but come on...he's not a serious prospect here... I too want to see a few more returns by Logan, but am excited from what I've seen so far. McDonald, Moore, Holmes...they have solid punt returners...Logan and Wallace returning kicks has the potential to be explosive...
I don't think McHugh will be cut simply because he plays TE and FB, but I don't think any of would mind if he was cut.
yeah lol....townsend, mundy, carter and lewis are all backup safties.....not sure theres a spot for ratliff there
After seeing last nights game...this is my adjusted list: Keiwan Ratliff - Makes Team Stefan Logan - Makes Team Shawn McDonald - Makes Team Bruce Davis - CUT Ramon Foster - Makes Team Isaac Redman - PRACTICE Frank "The Tank" Summers - CUT Brandon Williams - CUT Joe Burnett - Makes Team Ra'Shon Harris - PRACTICE David Johnson - Makes Team Keenan Lewis - Makes Team Martin Nance - CUT Mike Reilly - CUT A.Q. Shipley - PRACTICE Dallas Baker - CUT Justin Vincent - CUT Donovan Woods - Makes Team Bruce Davis didn't do rod again. I can't see how they can justify keeping this guy. I think they may keep him and then try to find a waiver wire veteran and then let Davis go...
They definitely shouldn't cut McDonald. He's a veteran WR with some games under his belt but more importantly, he's had a solid preseason.
As a colts fan he was solid last year when Jackson and Jennings were injured. He has nice hands and he can make plays in pass coverage. He can also return punts. He adds versitility at safety **********Automerged Doublepost********** Also, David Johnson has looked better than him in camp thus far
