Broncos Suspend Disgruntled WR Brandon Marshall

The Denver Broncos have suspended Pro Bowl receiver Brandon Marshall for unspecified "detrimental" conduct. The team announced the suspension Friday but didn't say how long it would last. Marshall has been open about his unhappiness with the Broncos and asked for a new contract or a trade.

Trade him and he sets a precident. Agree with the commentary on ESPN first take that Anquoin Boldin is a better example.....He squacked and wanted a new contract but when it came time to play he did. He manned up and played hard and was ready. Didn't act up like this.
Not sure how long the suspension is for but I don't think that will do much good. Teams used to have kangaroo courts with team leaders/captains being the judges and would set down fines and punishments but I am sure that's not allowed any more. I think there'd be more effect if it was from his peers.

 

its just for the preseason. The guy knows that these games mean nothing. I wouldn't worry.

Right now, i'll be shocked if Marshall is a Bronco in 2010.

 

They should have traded him before who would want him now hes a big baby.

 

The suspension ends 9/7, so that means he'll miss all the practices and preseason games - and for some reason I think Belichik may have known this was going to happen.
