ESPN Reports Chiefs LB Zach Thomas To Retire

    ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that ex-Miami Dolphins and current Kansas City Chiefs linebacker, Zach Thomas will retire from the National Football League. Thomas has spent the last 14 years in the NFL, most of it in Miami with the Dolphins and quick stops in Kansas City and with the Dallas Cowboys.

    Why? Everyone will remember him as a Dolphin anyway, no need for a useless one-day contract.
    I've never understood the logic behind this.
    Same for Jerry Rice, Emmitt Smith and many more...
