ProFootballTalk.com is reporting that a source has told them that the Denver Broncos are negotiating with multiple teams for the services of wide receiver Brandon Marshall. ProFootballTalk has since heard this from a second source as well. The potential Marshall suitors have not been contacted. Source: Profootballtalk.com
So I guess McDaniels was just full of crap last nite on the sideline saying that the 'ultimate endgame was to keep Brandon in Denver' - isn't that just typical.
1) Is this news? Haven't they been shopping him for over a month, just haven't got any sort of interest with regards to their demands? 2) McDaniels is a stupid heck (in case you didn't already know). Ridding the team of the two most talented skill position players on your roster isn't how you go about building a contender.
I would love to have him in Pittsburgh if I wasn't so content with our receiving corps right now. Bringing him in will just stir up some trouble. Although in Pittsburgh he'd no longer be a headcase, Mike Tomlin would set him straight very quickly. I'd give up a 2nd and 4th.
id love for him to be a steeler. i think theres talks of him to cleveland, edwards to NY and anderson to denver....with some picks involved
pretty sure it was a thread on bigblueinteractive from a source my friend says is pretty respected an doesnt really report BS. i may be wrong about the forum but all my friends are giants fans and thats been the word around the last day or so
I could only find Marshall for Cribbs and some picks. That would then allow the Browns to move Edwards to Baltimore.
Feel the same crowned. Would love to have him, but I'm happy with what we have. Don't think they could afford him next year anyway...
Didn't you guys already have a tall talented basketcase WR out there in Pittsburgh and were happy as hell when he left town?
And look up the numbers he put up with Ben.. that's all I'm concerned with, With Holmes and Marshall on the outside. Ward in the slot and Sweed at #4. We'd easily take over the world.
He wasn't half the basket case Marshall is...he wasn't even half the basket case Plaxico Burress is today...
