Eagles QB Michael Vick Cleared By NFL To Play In Week 3

As reported on NFL Network, Commissioner Roger Goodell confirmed that QB Michael Vick is to be reinstated in the third game of the 2009 season. Vick was released from prison to home confinement on May 20, 2009. Falcons owner Arthur Blank stated that he did not want Vick on the Falcons, and after attempts to trade him failed, Vick was released. On July 27, 2009, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell conditionally reinstated Vick, and would consider him for full reinstatement by Week 6 of the 2009 season at the latest.

Could have been worse. I guess the Warden Goodell had to pass some sort of sentence on Vick.

 

My guess is no team will still be running the wildcat in week 4. Epic fail.

The Vick signing was a waste. Hopefully it doesnt disrupt the good offseason FA pickups and the draft the Eagles had. Heres hoping his stay in Philly is extremely short...

 

I like mike vick but he will probably be gone by next year.
