Browns head coach Eric Mangini did not name a winner in Cleveland's summer-long quarterback competition between Brady Quinn and Derek Anderson. During a conference call, Mangini said he did not have "any additional information on the quarterbacks." After not playing the two QBs in Thursday's exhibition finale at Chicago, Mangini said he had seen enough to make his decision, but has yet to do so publicly. Source: Associated Press
Let them play make-it, take-it. You score, you keep playing. Either that or flip a fricking coin. Such a BB wannabe.
Come on, get over it and be done with it. Why the secrecy on a team that really does not and will not matter. Thanks 86!
Stupid. Just name a QB already. Rule #1 for GMs: Don't hire a coach who was just fired. You know, unless he's like Marty Schottenheimer or Mike Shanahan.
I'm pretty sure Quinn will start. Why all the hate? Does it really change any of your lives not knowing for certain? RM: The coach was hired before the GM in this case. And I thought for a while that Marty was coming back to Cleveland.
