Nope....not a waste....you generally expect a QB from lower levels to struggle coming into the NFL, and Bomar has an unusual technique that could need some work. No-one is likely to want to take a chance on a QB like Bomar (and have to stick him on their full squad) when there are so many young QB's around that they have already invested time in already on their rosters.
I say you don't use a 5th round pick on a guy that doesn't make the roster, but I attempt at positive spin. We got Ramses the great in the 5th. :icon_cool:
