Raiders head coach Tom Cable addressed the Richard Seymour trade following practice: "Real quickly about the Richard Seymour issue. We have attempted to make a deal. There are some issues still between him and the Patriots that are being worked out. Hoping that will be resolved as quickly as possible. We know that the player wants to be here, but we have no control really over those issues. That's really all I'm going to talk about it for now." Cable also added that he's talked to Seymour and that Seymour says he wants to play with the Raiders. There has been no official comment from Seymour as of yet and he has not reported to the Raiders since the trade. Source: Oakland Tribune
lol...sure he wants to be there, and he is no longer under contract with the Patriots, so what issues could they possibly be working out. The Raider franchise looks ridiculous with this situation, and is now going to look worse with Cables lying ans back pedaling to try save face...too late dude.
lol...does he think people are stupid?? Cable also added that he's talked to Seymour and that Seymour says he wants to play with the Raiders......HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
i want to play with the Raiders. they vastly overpay people who dont produce and sometimes dont get on the field. i can do that for $10 million!
yeah, the fact that he left out was that he talked to his mail man who just happens to be named Richard Seymour. That dude would love to play pro football. Cable then punched him in the mouth because that's how he says goodbye.
The Pats want to make sure they get all the illegal game tapes back before they let him go... What? Someone had to say it...
lol...there are reports that the Raiders now don't consider this a done deal...lol...dumbasses hecked themselves and are trying to bock...not gonna happen...lol
Ofcoarse the deal isnt done until he reports and takes a physical. If he doesnt the trade is void. The only ones that are going to lose if that happens is the Patriots, they dont get a first round pick and now they got a vet who is pist off they tried to trade him to the worst team in football. Maybe get a 2nd rounder from another team but he is going to lose value.
He has to show up, he has no choice he will be forced by the league, besides he wants to be there, Cable spoke to him personally...lol
Al Davis offered Richy Rich a 5 Year 44.8 Million Dollar contract not too long ago. I don't know if Seymour accepted or not but he's headed to Oakland as I type this. (I got sources fAm)
Huh?? Richy Rich??...and when did he offer this contract??...and who are these sources that know more than every media outlet?
the voices can be very strong. 5 years 44+ million, that would be the worst thing they could do. I would literally need stitches if that came true.
