Raiders head coach Tom Cable continued to play it coy regarding his starting running back, saying Justin Fargas wasn’t necessarily out of the race even though he’s still sidelined with a hamstring strain. “We’re closer. We’re just not ready to cut it loose yet,” Cable said. Cable also said he has a good idea of his lead running back, but probably won’t announce it until Thursday after he’s talked to Darren McFadden, Justin Fargas and Michael Bush. not going to happen herm. Raider chief games are the ones im looking forward to this season. McFadden did it to you guys last season with a sore toe cant wait to see what he does with a good one.
For their sake i think they hope it's Run DMC considering how high they drafted him but it doesnt make to much difference, both guys will get plenty of touches
I'm looking for a big year from McFadden (fantasy)! I had him last year too and it kicked me in the butt, so he owes me one. :icon_lol:
Got to be McFadden, but if they're smart Bush will get the ball too. The Raiders running game is actually one thing the team has going for itself
Well he isn't going to have anyone to throw to so he better run good. Heyward Bey is not going to be much.
Al Davis never ceases to amaze me. If he wanted DHB so bad it would have made no sense at all to trade down for him I guess. Just another blown draft for Davis there, but if McFadden and Bush have success that should open up the passing game a bit.
Heyward Bey was definitely picked way too high in the draft. Yes he may be fast, but he is not big at all. One hit by these fast and big Linebackers and he could be like wait a minute I didn't sign up for this. I see him injured a lot.
Dude i wish you were our gm. You make it sound so easy, From what ive read after the browns traded up to get sanchez nobody else wanted a specific player. Tell me who could of traded with us? The higher you are the more money you have to shell out. I doubt DHB would of been there in 2nd round so im glad we took him I like what he brings I know he still Raw but has great potential.
Honestly because he is a former Maryland player I wish the best for him, but I have been watching him the past few college seasons and he was agreat player for the collegiate game. He was fast and a lot of those Linebackers and D-backs couldn't keep up with him. Now that he is in the NFL those D-Backs and some Line backers can stick with him and will crush him. His size is the huge issue for me.
I think you might have ben able to trade down just not with a massive asking price, If you dont ask for the house someone would normally be willing to give up say a 3rd to move up 5-10 spots. Even though people would then say its a 1 sided trade if you still get the guy wanted whats wrong wwith picking up a3rd and saving some cash
Im glad to hear your opinion with out the mocking its refreshing. Rep. so lets hope he works hard and hits the gym.
