Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger's Accuser Offers A Deal

The woman who claims Ben Roethlisberger sexually assaulted her at a Nevada resort has offered to drop her civil lawsuit if he admits that the assault occurred and writes a letter of apology. The Steelers quarterback also must agree to pay $100,000 to the Committee to Aid Abused Women or some similar entity, according to a letter that the woman's attorney, Calvin Dunlap, wrote to Roethlisberger's lawyers Aug. 31 and submitted to a Nevada court Friday in the latest in a series of court filings in the case. Dunlap wrote in court documents that he was submitting a copy of his letter to Roethlisberger's attorneys to rebut "unfounded and false suggestions that (the woman) has brought this suit for the purpose of 'extorting' a large monetary recovery."

I think she's grasping - and that is pie in the heckin' sky if she thinks shes going to get an NFL player to admit to a sexual assault without a criminal case - whats his prerogative?
