turner did a ton of damage in a handful of games against some poor teams. I am guessing you went RB, QB, WR in the first three rounds. I think this team is a boom or bust as there are a ton of players that have real ???'s. For a league that starts 3 WR's and 2 RB's, your WR depth is weak and could come back to hurt you. Without having a PPR, you took a lot of WR's that don't have a history of scoring TD's, so that in itself is a risk. I would probably drop jamal lewis for a guy like Chris Henry, who could see the endzone 9+ times. DO you have to have a backup TE? I don't see the point. Overall, I see a middle of the road team that took a QB too high, that has a chance to surprise, but more than likely will disappoint. Sorry, just being honest with my opinion.

a shining example of how taking a QB early hecks your team's depth

I am glad you are honest. I surely am no expert in this Fantasy thing and hope to learn for the future. I did take a RB, QB, WR in my first three rounds then came back with another RB in the 4th(Larry Johnson). The one person that I think is going to kill me is Ted Ginn Jr. or Donnie Avery one of the two having to play each week. I am hoping to trade Ginn Jr. for Derrick Mason, but we shall see if that happens. I could drop Boss and pick up more depth at WR or RB if there is anyone out there.

I don't think that team is bad in a 12 team league. She doesn't have depth at wide receiver, but in a 12 team league there will only be a couple of teams that are solid at WR. Turner, LJ, and Rice is a really solid trio at RB. I agree with the advice to pick up Chris Henry for this team.

I will see if he is still out there on the waiver wire. Thanks

    Should I drop Boss?

I really like the depth at RB with Slaton, Barber, Rice, and McFadden. The WR's are a bit weak, but could improve when Bryant is fully healthy again.

Meh. If DP means any defensive player you should go with a LB they get more tackles. Perhaps including your defensive scoring pts would have helped with my advice.

Porter had 36 tackles last year. So I'd say there's probably a better option available.

    What about the 17.5 sacks?

Like I'm now saying for the 3rd time, what's your scoring system? Chances are a higher sack total doesn't compare to a higher tackle total.

I'm in that same league with baskett

This is my team from that league
    We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 (RB/WR), 1 TE, 1 LB, 1 DL, 1 DB, 2 IDP Flex

    TD pass 4pt, bonus 1pt 40-49, 2 pts 50+ 3pt bonus @ 300 yds 1pt 25 yds
    TD run 6pt, bonus 1pt 40-49, 2pts 50+ 2pt bonus @ 200 yds 1 pt 10 yds rush/rec
TD recept 6pt, no bonus for distance or total yards 1 pt/10 yds 1 PPR

IDP - our IDP settings are set so that most IDP's don't really score that much, the best are LB & DE's (I don't pick DT's because they just suck in most IDP scoring formats) score about the same and LB and the best ones score 4-5pts a game at the most. the best DB's average 3pts.

    3 tackles - 1pt, sack - 3pt, int - 3pt, FF - 2pt, FR - 2pt, block kick - 4pt, TD - 6pt, pass defended - .5 pt

must keep 3 offensive and 1 defensive players
    my keepers
Larry Fitzgerald, Andre Johnson, Stephen Jackson, Jared Allen

my Team - I won the league last year, so I had 10th pick - starters in BOLD

    QB - Schaub, Edwards
RB - Stephen Jackson, Ryan Grant, Knowshon Moreno, Leon Washington, James Davis, Peyton Hillis
WR - Andre Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, TJ Houshmanzadeh, Jerricho Cotchery, Chris Henry, Chaz Schilens, Michael Crabtree (last pick of the draft)
    TE - Dustin Keller
DL - Jared Allen, Julius Peppers, Mario Williams
LB - LaMarr Woodley, Shawne Merriman
    DB - Adrian Wilson

offensive flex can be Moreno, Cotchery, Leon, Henry
2 defensive flex will be Peppers and Super Mario, until I have to rotate merriman in for bye weeks.

Pretty impressive to get Stephen Jackson, Andre Johnson, and Larry Fitzgerald sitting in that 10 spot. Your starting lineup is really good offensively. I can't speak to IDP since I don't play those leagues. Cotchery and Henry are good WR4's. The running back depth is the only unknown. If Moreno puts up big you're sitting very pretty, if he flames hopefully Hillis picks up that slack. Davis could be a big sleeper too. There's definitely the potential in there.

I would rate that a 9, close to a 10 based on your draft position. Well done.

S-jax, AJ and Fitz were keepers. I already had those guys heading into the draft.
