Emmitt Smith Predicts Seven Wins For Cowboys

Jerry Jones has visions of Super Bowl grandeur, but Emmitt Smith certainly isn't expecting the Cowboys to return to glory this season. During an appearance on ESPN Radio this morning, Emmitt offered a gloom-and-doom prediction and plenty of Roy Williams ripping. "Realistically, I think that the Cowboys can win seven games," Emmitt said. Emmitt seems to think that the new all-business approach, complete with player accountability, is a bunch of bull. "I mean, when I start hearing things are going to change, I keep asking myself as a player, how much are they going to change?" he said. "Are you going to be a hard-nosed coach now since things are going to change? Are you going to be more focused than you were last year? Those kind of things, I'm like, c'mon. This is not a game where you can just turn it on and turn it off."

all i can say is I hope Emmitt's prediction doesn't come true.

 

I think he low balled them a bit. I think they will get about 9 wins.

 

Damn, Emmitt. I hate Dallas and give them more credit then that (8-8,9-7).

 

But Emmitt is closer with his predicition then that of Jerry Jones and his visions or shall I say delusions of a Cowboys Superbowl.

 

7 wins. 8 wins. somewhere around there is probably accurate. the cowboys don't have as much talent as many believe. their coaching is average. and to top it off, they play in the hardest division in football. yep, around .500 sounds about right.

 

Im not gonna lie im worried that the cowboys are under the radar. I think there gonna be alot better than the giants this year.

You want to be like San Diego and make the playoffs at 8-8? ...or play Cleveland and the Brows every year. They have like 3 winning seasons combined over the last 20 years.
