The homer in me says the Chiefs. The realist/pessimistic in me says Ravens. So I went with the Homer in me. :icon_cheesygrin:
wasn't referring to him hh...I didn't even see his post till just now...:icon_cheesygrin: I predicted a score of 31-10 Ravens...but God, it would be so great if we could pull off an upset...I just hate arrogant, cocky fans...they get on my nerves. :icon_evil:
The Ravens really aren't being arrogant in this game. We are really being realists because we really think they will win. But that being said, there is a reason they play the games and anything could happen, but I really don't see the Ravens losing this one.
Pretty much, the only realistic way that I see the Ravens losing is if they make too many mistakes. Which COULD happen since Flowers is a stud, just not likely. I have heard that some of the Ravens players are having some trouble with what to expect, thanks to the unknown QB situation, but I can easily clear that up. If Croyle plays, all your secondary will have to do is double cover Dwayne Bowe and the rest of the defense just has to get pressure on Croyle. Reed will probably pick Croyle off at least once. If Cassel plays, I'd just put everyone in the box. Cassel hasn't proven that he can hit anyone deep, so take away the checkdowns and short passes, and he'll be in deep trouble. If Thigpen plays, just blitz the OLBs and make sure they don't go too far inside, so that Thigpen can't run. You won't have to worry about him throwing at all, since he can't. If all of that happens and Flacco doesn't throw any picks, you might shut us out.
If we lose my eyes are going to be so sore from crying. I will also have a broken foot because my foot will have to be extracted from the television.
