Eagles Activate QB Michael Vick, Cut WR Hank Baskett

The Eagles on Tuesday afternoon removed quarterback Michael Vick from the Exempt List and added him to their 53-man roster and released wide receiver Hank Baskett. Vick is eligible to practice when the team resumes its work at the NovaCare Complex on Wednesday. He is not eligible to play in a game until Week 3, when the Eagles play the Kansas City Chiefs at Lincoln Financial Field.

I always thought Baskett had some potential that we never utilized. Big target with good hands.

the eagles are currently $8.6mil under the cap. cutting brown would hit them with $5.8 in dead money. not going to happen.
