I have seen polls that show a majority of Native Americans are not upset by Washington using the term. I have even meet some that they are Redskins fans because of the name.

 

of course none of this would harm any of you. There are still Native Americans the still live on reservations that are fighting just for bacis stuff like water. That the treaties said that this goverment would give to them after it was signed over 100 years ago. these are gettos that America has forgotten and believe the Natives of this land have nothing to offer or say on their own land.

 

yeah and we all know that polls are indisputable. sorry, that right there is bull. the majority absolutely care and are offended the problem is their voice is not heard.

 

A name is just a name, you put the meaning into it and those who take offense are the ignorant ones. If the Jews became a team I would be honored because every sports fan would be reminded of my people. But that is just me I guess.
