OMG what more can you do Jed, cross it off as a bust and move on... the kid is obviously a money hungry punk who doesn't deserve anything.

While it maybe true hes greedy, he was our first round pick and I dont blame Jed for at least trying to get a very talented wr on the team instead of flushing our pick down the toilet.

It's not like anyone hasn't tried since he was drafted, when do you just say "You're being a rod and we're not going to offer you any more money regardless of what you think you're worth" "Sign or all bets are off"

honestly, I am truly shocked that he never signed. I just don't see how he thinks he will get anywhere near what he is being offered right now being picked next year. He will be lucky to get a 1/4 of what he is being offered right now.

Seriously? I think the 9ers organization should set a precedent by telling this kid to go get hecked rather than pander to his ego.

Well really i think the 49ers have done a good job making an example for every rookie class after this. Get it through your heads, you've never played a snap in the nfl and your going to make a few million a year anyway.

What Happened to all the pre draft talk about him being great a future star i cant believe the raiders passed him up AL Davis is stupid yadayadaya. Its because of all the people who kept telling him your going be great your the best receiver in the draft top 5 no doubt. As we all know things didnt come out that way so i think hes making his agent work because that was what was promised to him. Its just business and crabtree has leverage probably the only time in his career he will have it.

    Don't do anything stupid, Jed.

    What exactly does he have?

has york not met face to face with crabtree already at some point?

maybe if they had met face to face several times, this wouldn't be an issue.

It's more difficult for people to be buttholes while looking into someone's eyes versus talking through their agent.

Probably not for Crabtree. He was pretty much universally known as a rodhead even before he was drafted. I doubt anyone could have predicted the level of douche bag he reached before even playing a snap, but you get where I'm coming from.

GL @ McDonalds, Crabtree. Remember when Mike Williams was out of football for a year for declaring too early? Gee, how's his career going nowadays?

Trade him for a #1.....any #1 next year and cut your losses. I always thought he was vastly overrated anyways

The thing about this is Crabtree is he better take the offer on the table because next year he won't see that kind of money if he sits out. I've known Crabtree family in our neighborhood he's never been raised to make a fool of himself.

That he is a great receiver in college he hasnt played a down in the NFL but no one knows if hes going to be great or not be great. its a gamble when is he going to have a hand to play like that again never. He could be bluffing or have a full house no one knows.
