The Detroit Lions host the Minnesota Vikings at Ford Field on Sunday 9/20. Kickoff time is 1:00 pm EST. Discuss....
Adrian Peterson's numbers are about to get ridiculous heading into week 3. Favre will have a fun day torching the defense as well. Got to feel bad for the Lions lol. 41-24 MIN
I actually think the lions have a chance.... if stafford shapes up or they put in culpepper.. that along with the lions defence can step up their Run Defence I think they have a chance. Farve isnt anything special anymore and from what I heard... he didnt really do anything last week. We will see though... Most likely the Vikings will win but I think the lions will have a suprise sooner or later.
I doubt the Lions will go winless again, but I don't think they have what it takes to beat the Vikings.
maybe.. maybe not Stafford got one game and found out how it was in the NFL maybe got a bit more practice in and make a turn around..... like I said pretty sure vikings will win but I am hoping it will at least be a good game and people start thinking it wont be a cake walk over the lions like last season lol.
Ya I know the Lions arent going to the playoffs this year... but I still would like them to be competitive and at least make their games worth seeing........
anyone who is picking this game as a huge blowout is reading into last week to much becuase this will be a shorter game favre or not they arnt going to throw the ball around they will run it minny will only have 3-4 scores AD will have 25 touches
its okay, when it's your team, you're usually blind. THats what it is, in this case. I'd be the same way.
thats nice but there is this amazing rule that when you run the ball and stay in bounds the clock keeps running which shortens the game the Saints were flinging the ball around the field which lengthens the game and gives them more possessions which = more opps to score :icon_eek: amazing isnt it they will be up 21-3 in the 1st Q and wont have a need to pass the ball the rst of the game so they wont make it a huge blowout
The Lions tend to play the Vikings pretty tough. And chili isn't the sharpest tool in the shed (he is a tool though), so I think it will be a 10 to 14 point or so game. Like most Vikings game this season, it will come down to the Lion's run defense, and how Favre responds in 3rd and long situations if the Lion's can bottle up AP.
After the the 49ers I support Detroit, but not in this game!! The Vikes will have a field day against this team!!
