After two games like this, it’s hard to believe this is the same Green Bay Packers offense that appeared so potent in the preseason. There was no dominating defense to save the Packers on Sunday, when the Cincinnati Bengals sacked Rodgers six times, held Ryan Grant to 3.3 yards per rush and didn’t allow a touchdown drive in the final three quarters of a 31-24 upset at Lambeau Field. There were drops, fumbles, questionable run reads, apparent communication issues and erroneous decisions by Rodgers, who held the ball too long on at least a couple of the sacks. They played like crap vs Chicago and continued yesterday. Two more weeks of this awful performance and we can deep six this season
McCarthy needs to get his head out of his butt and stop being so conservitve. He also needs to stop being TT's puppet and put the best team on the field, not the the team that TT wants.
i don;t think the offense played as bad as the d not being able to stop the run. i thought i would never say this, but if you stop benson i think we win the game. he averaged 5 yards a carry. sorry back to topic, the dropped balls and lack of "making a play" just killed us. please please please give greg jennings the ball. WR screen, anything the guy has to get the ball . the o-line is trouble, is their any free agents out there, trades?.... rodgers holding onto the ball to long is getting scary, where are the quick passes? at least we play the rams next
