Mathias Kiwanuka doesn't need to see film of Flozell Adams' illegal trip that injured Justin Tuck Sunday night to understand what his teammate is going through. Kiwanuka knows because he was injured on a similarly dirty play last year by Redskins OT Chris Samuels. "Guys get beat and it's like they'd do anything to save their quarterback," he said Monday. "That's absolutely not an excuse," Kiwanuka insisted. "This is the NFL. People put their careers on the line every day and you don't want to risk somebody getting hurt off of something cheap like that. You understand they have a job to do, to protect their quarterback. But there's rules in the game for a reason. That's definitely inexcusable." Source: New York Daily News
get over it, damn there are things called cheap shots and then theres tripping..... ya he got tripped up, he stuck his tree sized leg out there and he fell down. this is football, its not like he pinched your tit
Sticking your leg to trip the DE is not how you play football. If that was how you play then it wouldn't be against the rules.
it is against the rules.. thats why he got flagged for it. Oh Well, it saved Tony from getting hit, he did his job. Just it cost us and the Giants both in the long run.
It's illegal and it is cheap....no doubt about it.... Flozell is well known for his penalty count (holding etc) so it's no surprise that he would resort to tripping....
i know its against the rules boo hoo bull rush the guy, take him out at the knees these guys are on deffense! they give it, so why can't they take it. they got the yellow flag and won the game, i've seen alot worse than that trip thats all im saying.........
Not to mention the fine he'll get. I mean, if they fine you for wearing socks 1 inch short, they HAVE to fine him for this.
its a dirty bush league play, there's not much else you can say about it. And it wasnt his first off the game either. He did it to Osi a few times, he also did it against the Bucs too. However is a guy like Chris Snee did it to someone like Demarcus Ware, Cowboy fans would convine a lynching party
