Chargers RB LaDanian Tomlinson himself has no interest in rushing back to action with capable backups on the roster, especially after being criticized last season for decreased production while fighting through injuries. "I'm not going to go through what I went through last year, playing at 70 percent," Tomlinson said. "I'm not going to do that. I'm going to make sure it's healthy and where I need it to be in order to help this team. We have great depth right now. We're in good shape." Source: North County Times
I didn't believe it before, but I think I might now. LT could be done, I expected him to bounce back but it doesn't seem like his heart is in it anymore.
I think it started to show he lost his heart in the game when he sat out the entire AFC Championship with a bruised patella. Not to mention last years toe injury.
no surprise here......go back and look at LT'S first few years....they ran the crap out of him. all the records are great, but now it's affecting the last years of his career. careful what you say.....peterson is next in line for a short career. remember earl campbell?????? dude was a freaking beast, led the NFL in rushing in 1978, 1979, and 1980.....impossible to bring down....then it all caught up with him.
This turkey almost Munsoned my FF team too but I managed to pull the trigger on an LT for Ronnie trade before all this came out - too bad after all his 'I'm back!' BS before the start of the season.
why wouldn't you draft Sproles if you picked LT? BTW if I had to guess they'll most likely keep him out at least until after the bye (week 5).
