Philadelphia's Tasty Baking Co. Teams With Steelers

Tasty Baking Co., a Philadelphia icon since 1914, is reaching across the state to form a marketing alliance with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The team and the snack-food company will have co-branded products, joint advertising and marketing programs, and collectible items, Tasty Baking said in today's announcement. The company has similar partnerships with the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies and Flyers. The new deal furthers the "strategic approach of reaching consumers in varied ways, notably through professional sports," Tasty Baking said.

all i gotta say on tastykakes themselves is .... jelly krimpets FTW !!!!

 

I was never a huge fan of the Jelly krimpet. They aren't bad...I go butterscotch or the peanut butter kakes...I'll go chocolate cupcakes too...so good...:water:

 

IMO, the cupcakes are the best
but id be just as excited about the collectors tin that it comes in

just always killed the jellies but you cant go wrong wrong with the butterscotch either. the peanut butter kandies own as well. the chocolate filled cupcakes are sick good too. oh and the coffeekake is sweet too. damn too many to list !!!

one that i was disappointed with was the PB&J krimpets. used a different peanut butter than is used in the kandykakes. yuck.
