um, actually he said this a few minutes ago, "Why the heck are the Bears so god damned determined to keep this crapty team in the game?" ................. yes, that's denigrating the seahawks ...........
You keep acting like this a healthy Seahawks team. And newsflash, no they aren't that good. They are a mediocre NFC West team. Not sure why you like them that much but whatever. The only reason this game is even close is the Bears have played like crap most of the day.
Cutler finished off a nice drive by connecting with Hester for a TD, but hold the phone, 'cause this game ain't over yet.
First down Seahawks it looks like... :59 left in the game... **********Automerged Doublepost********** Nope, just short... 4th and inches...
what a classy quote. yes, the bears are the best team in the nfl and the only way a team can even stay close to them is if the bears play like crap .............. right....... how old are you? oh, btw, your 'big' win over the steelers last week doesn't look so big now because the bengals just beat them too. the bears can be called nothing better than 'average' at this point by someone who actually knows the game. enjoy your homerism ....................
Not sure what you are so bent about. The Seahawks are the 3rd best team in the NFC West. I don't think the Bears are a great team but this is a game they should win given the Seahawks injuries. The Bears came out about as flat as possible to begin the game and that is why it is close right now.
Bears win. Thank you. Closer than it should have been but hey, get the W and move on. :icon_cheesygrin:
you continually called the oppossing team 'crapty'....... i will defend any team who's being insulted by an oppossing homer ............. Not only is it not classy, it's not intelligent because it's not true in this case. the seahawks are not the rams or chiefs. oh and btw, the bears right now are the 3rd best team in the nfc north, which by your definition in divisional rankings means they suck .................. ????
Hopefully next week we can come out and play from the start of the game for a change, but as long as our D keep shrugging off the injuries I'll take wins like this.
I just don't see any reason to be impressed with Seattle. They were crapty last season and so far this season all they have done is beat the Rams. Very impressive. Being a cut above the Rams isn't any big achievement. Now I will give Seattle credit for a couple things; for one thing, they are tough to beat at home even when they aren't a great team. And also Seneca Wallace is really a decent backup QB overall. But the fact remains the Bears did not even start playing until about midway in the 2nd quarter and spotted them a 13 point lead at home and they could not hold it at all. Pure and simple you don't have to be a homer fan to say the Bears were expected to win this game. You are way overcompensating in some weird way and I don't exactly get it. My main frustration today was the Bears coming out looking like they spent all week patting themselves on the back for the Pittsburgh win and they looked like a team that spent the week practicing video games instead of practicing football. But they got past that and rolled to the tune of 25-6 after spotting the Seafairies a 13 point lead. Jay Cutler was huge today after a slow start. 21/27, 247 yards and 3 TD compared to 1 INT. Good to see Jay have back to back solid games after a really bad debut in Green Bay. Oh and best of luck to the Panthers tomorrow night, they need it.
