Browns quarterback Brady Quinn was pulled at halftime after being ineffective and his replacement Derek Anderson threw three interceptions in relief in the team's 35-3 loss to the Ravens. There is uncertainty as to what direction the Browns will go with their quarterback situation after a 0-3 start to the season that has gotten worse and worse each week. Head coach Eric Mangini told reporters he is not ready to name a starting quarterback for next week. "I'm going to look at it and I'll make a decision early next week," Mangini informed the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Source: Cleveland Plain Dealer
as much as i don't believe in mangini as an nfl head coach, most of this is not his fault. he inherited a mess in cleveland................. he can't fix it though. he's not the guy.
Absolutely no one likes Mangini as a person, much less a coach. So far none of Belichicks ex coaches have had success coaching since they left New England. For that matter, almost all of the players that took big contracts to leave NE have bombed also. Kind of weird.
