Raiders QB JaMarcus Russell A Target For Boos In Lopsided Loss

Raider fans directed their venom toward quarterback quarterback JaMarcus Russell during the team's 23-3 loss at home against the division rival Broncos. The less-than-sold-out crowd booed Russell during cornerback Andre Goodman's first-quarter interception return and kept it up the rest of the game. The crowd chanted, "Russell sucks! Russell sucks!" after he was sacked on a third-down play early in the fourth quarter and they also booed when he returned for the ensuing series.

I'd be pissed too if this clown was my teams starting QB - the rest of the team is ready to take steps forward but Russell is like an anchor around this team.

Raiders were looking good week 1 and 2 but it seems while the rest of the team is getting better Russel is just getting worse.

 

I've been called worse, and I've called the Raider worse.

 

We had some good coaches working with the kid, he doesnt get it. He is fat, stupid and lazy.

There is no excuse for missing open WR's all the time.

He reminds me of "WildThing" in the movie Major League, maybe he needs glasses because it's like he has a depth perception thing going on, and today on a show we have here in the Bay Area called "Point After" one of the reporters that was at the game today said that Russell told her that he felt like he played pretty well today....what game was he at is what I want to know.

 

No heck Russell. Its just funny how him being a terrible QB is all of a sudden the Raiders doing....

What sickens me is after the game Russell said he did fine and threw his wrs under the bus, then blamed the refs like some charger fans for "two missed PI calls" on the ints.

That pisses me off the leader of your football team is not suppose to be blaming other people for his crapty play.

I didn't say the Raiders are ruining everyone, you did. I also don't see how you know for a fact it's his fault and not the coaching staff unless you work for the team. It looks like it might be both him and the coaches.

All I know is your boy doesn't know how to put any touch on the ball. I also know that your coaching staff doesn't know when to give the ball to Bush and McFadden.

If you think those last two paragraphs were moronic, I think you're pretty damn lost yourself.

You cant run the ball every down.

You can run the ball when Mcfadden is fumbling left and right (3 fumbles today). You cant run the ball when your starting QB throws a pick and the other team in scoring to put you in a 10 point hole.

Play calling has been good, players are getting open , Russell cant hit anything.
