Zach Strief will apparently replace Jermon Bushrod as the Saints' starting left tackle this week while Bushrod rests lingering ankle and knee injuries that were aggravated in last week's victory at Buffalo. Bushrod said Wednesday that he doesn't expect to play Sunday against the New York Jets, and the plan is for him to try to return after the Saints' bye in Week 5. The Saints will lean heavily on both big men after announcing Tuesday that Jamaal Brown will be out for the entire season with a hip injury. "We feel like both of those guys are guys that are certainly capable of starting and playing, and we're going to need both of those guys," said Coach Sean Payton, who declined to name a starter for Sunday's game. "Those guys have been here, and we've worked with them and developed them. And both of them have played now in important games."

Boy, that leaves a weakness for the Jets D to exploit. :icon_eek:
