Free safety Michael Johnson exited the game against Kansas City in the first quarter with an apparent shoulder injury, according to Mike Garafolo's twitter page. Johnson has been replaced in the lineup by Aaron Rouse, who has only been with the team for two weeks. An extended injury would be a severe blow to the Giants secondary, as starting strong safety Kenny Phillips was recently placed on season-ending injured reserve.

Definitely the most concerning area of the Giants depth (or in this case lack of it)

he left with a shoulder injury, but he did return to the game so hopefully it's not serious.
