During the halftime show of Sunday night's Steelers-Chargers broadcast, former Patriots safety Rodney Harrison had a few words for Tom Brady. Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis was incensed about two questionable roughing the passer penalties in the first half called against Baltimore. I saw this... Brady snitched to the refs, so what, he's supposed to snitch about everything. The refs are to blame for making the calls, not Brady for asking them to.
The problem wasn't just his snitching, it was that he snitched after nearly every freaking play and after that particular play when he snitched the ref seemed to throw the flag in response to Brady's whining.
We are sure getting these calls too. We had 2 last week. One on Wilfork, where somehow he would have had to have stopped 330#s in mid air from coming down on the QB, just after the pass was thrown. Just how in the heck are you suppose to do that?
Wonder if Fox is going to turn this into a weekly segment. "Rodney Calls Out _____" Can't be any worse that the marginally funny at best Frank Caliendo crap. As far as Brady? QBs are gonna work the refs, plain & simple. I think Brady's tough enough...
He didn't "call him out" according to Dan Patrick's radio show today. Apparently Rodney only has one tone of voice so his humor was lost in the comment. He was more breaking his buddy's balls than anything else. Brady texted Rodney right afterwards and the 2 exchanged joking texts according to Peter King who was also on set last evening.

The worst part is not the ref giving in to Brady's obnoxious wailing when he's grazed...but the fist pump reaction when the flag gets thrown. Guess you were really concerned for yourself Marsha.:icon_rolleyes:
eh, the officials know who the best teams/best players are in this league .............. they're only human ................. if anyone thinks officials are perfect robots, they're lying to themselves.

I like Rodney doing what he does. He brings humor into play, and still makes a point. He's giving Tom crap, but of all people, him laying the bang on QB's was something he enjoyed as much as anyone.
