Could the Cowboys be facing a must-win in Week 5? Against, of all teams, the Chiefs?!?!? Yes, beating 0-4 Kansas City's a must now. And here's why -- With this team's history, going into the bye at 2-3, and the Falcons, Packers and Eagles waiting in Weeks 7-10, it's pretty hard to see the Cowboys surviving that AND turning around their history of December woes. Yes it is. They are already 2 games behind the giants and 1 game behind the eagles. They should beat the cheifs. If they lose it's over already due to the schedule they have coming up.
yes this game is a must win going into the bye week. This game could determine there season a lost to the lowly Chiefs will send this team spiraling and may aswel write this season off. It's a must win because coming out of the bye week they face a tough Falcons team at home.
It's a must win because it's the Chiefs... you got to win the ones you should especially when you lose ones you should win. A loss to the Chiefs would be rock bottom.
it's hard to call the 5th game in a season a 'must win'. the concern with the cowboys digging a hole is that no team in the league faces as much pressure to succeed year in and year out as the cowboys do. if they fall apart, it will just spiral out of control quickly.
I would be more inclined to call it a must win if it came against an NFC team. While it is not good to loose to any team the one that affects the lest amount of tie breakers is the ones against teams from another conference.
They'll lose. Cowboys have a history of losing to crapty teams in the worst possible time. I remember losses to the Saints when the sucked, to the Lions a couple of years ago, and the Rams last year. Stick a fork on us...we're done. Which is a good thing. Jerry will pay craploads of money to Shannahan, Cowher, Holmgrem or any other Super Bowl winning coach he can find.
