Giants Eli Manning Named One Of Most Overrated By SI

Eli Manning is back at the Giants' practice facility Tuesday, getting treatment on the plantar fasciitis in his right foot, hopefully he's not reading the latest issue of Sports Illustrated while he's doing it. In the latest SI players' poll, 239 players were asked to name "The most overrated player in the NFL." Manning, who is currently 4-0 and the fourth-rated quarterback in the NFL (104.1) finished fourth in the poll.

Romo is WAYYYYYYYYYY more overrated then eli. Eli has been pretty good so far but hasent played a good secondary so we will see.

Unlike Dilfer, Eli actually did something to help his team win. Eli is overrated, but anyone except a select few players is really overrated.

Honestly, who cares? Eli simply knows how to win even if he's not the flashiest QB. People can say anything the want about him, but Eli is the guy who beat the 'Greatest Team Ever' to win the Superbowl. Talk to Eli's ring, SI.

 

Like SoDev pointed out, it wasn't SI, it was a vote by players.

 

Eli does nothing but win...lol...yeah...he's overrated and Cris Carter only caught TD's...

 

Why don't people just make comments about being overated after the half way point in the season? The season has barely started and people judging players already. Let them play and then make a decision!!!!!
