If the 2-2 Cowboys lose to winless Kansas City on Sunday, owner and general manager Jerry Jones said coach Wade Phillips' job would not be on the line. "No. No it is not," Jones said Friday on his weekly radio show on 105.3 The Fan. Phillips is in the last year of a three-year contract but there is an option for a fourth year that has not been picked up. Jones normally doesn't speak about coaches contracts but he showed support for Phillips after the team lost the regular-season finale to the Eagles last season. Source: ESPN.com
Only 12 or 13 more of these topics to go. It seems like once a week during the season, one of these kind of topics pops up. I wouldn't be shocked if Wade was canned at the end of the season.
Coach Puffy WILL be canned at the end of the season. Nothing he can do about it, and he probably knows it. Give me Coach Chin or Shanahan, please.
eh, part of me thinks that whoever asked jones the question is dumb but part of me thinks that it may have been a fair question based upon the expectations of his team (even if they weren't realistic expectations).
I wish Jerry fire Wade ,Garrett along with there other worthless leutinants. This has to be one of the NFL worst coaching staff. How can Jerry have confidents in him if he didn't know MB3 wasn't in the game.
