In need of a running back after Patrick Cobbs' season-ending torn anterior cruciate ligament, the Miami Dolphins signed former Purdue running back Kory Sheets off the San Francisco 49ers' practice squad. "I like it here," Sheets told the Santa Rosa Press-Democrat. "The players were cool, the coaches were cool and I put in the work here but unfortunately it's one of those things. It's how the business goes." Sheets rushed for 177 yards and three touchdowns during the preseason after being signed as an undrafted free agent. Source: National Football Post.com
nice shot for the Dolphins! I like Sheets as much as coffee. I wanted niners to keep him instead of Michael robinson:icon_sad:
I was hoping the 49ers would find a way to keep this kid too. Maybe he won't make the team and the 49ers will pick him up again.
From what I'v read about him, he is on this team. He is a faster version of what Cobbs was. Plus he is able to return kicks.
