Jeremy Shockey will likely celebrate his first catch against the Giants this weekend with fist-pumping, finger-pointing and all the assorted trash-talking and showboating that became his trademark in the six years he played in New York. Shockey told the New Orleans Times-Picayune in yesterday's editions that he had a "bitter taste in my mouth," from his Giants days. "It's just something that if you cross me once - it's hard enough to gain my trust as it is - and if you lie to me and if you say something behind closed doors between that person and myself." Well, he is on my fantasy team... Problem with Shockey was that his actions never spoke louder than his words. If he has a good game, good for him. I just want the win.
If he could make it there, than he could make it anywhere. But he did not. He is still bitter and has no one to blame but himself. New York is a different animal than the U.
If he is extra motivated, that is good, but I could do without all of the fist pumping and showing off. :icon_rolleyes:
