I'm sure we will see alot of bodies being rotated in at defensive end. This is a huge blow to Pittsburgh's defense. Offense just needs to continue to score, and I think the defense can do just enough, Steelers continue to win games.
i really do not believe this is a playoff team without him, a playoff defense at least....good thing the offense is better than usual
Kirschke had his most solid season last year filling in for Keisel while he was injured, hopefully that was all because of improvement, because we know Travis has struggled trying to fill in for Aaron Smith before.
this is too bad. i was anxious to see how much the steelers defense could improve throughout the season after getting everyone back on the field.
It's still possible, Browns won't be a problem this week, the right side of their offensive line is terrible and that will be a confidence builder for that committee of defensive ends we have in there this week (mainly Travis Kirschke and Ziggy Hood).
kirschke has a bad back and is the oldest player on the team and he is TERRIBLE on the strong side. eason will do most of the filling in there on run downs and evander will be in on pass downs at first at least. and i do not believe this is a playoff caliber defense, hes the most important player on the defense and even with him this defense was a shadow of its last year self....completely unimpressive. ben has been playing out of his mind, its all gonna be on him. jarron gilbert would be nice about now
