Bengals Chad Ochocinco Buys Tickets To Avoid Blackout

Cincinnati gridiron fans will be able to watch the Bengals on local television this weekend, after receiver Chad Ochocinco(notes) teamed up with a sponsor to buy enough tickets to avoid a blackout. Under National Football League rules, a game must be sold out 72 hours in advance or it cannot be broadcast on local television. The Bengals said Friday they had sold enough tickets to their game against the Houston Texans to keep their streak of sell-outs intact.

he just bought 40 tickets to a theatre, bringing in the first 40 there at 1030 with him to see Law Abiding Citizens.. this dude may be one of the best things to ever happen to the NFL.. and one thing after another they gonna find ways to fine him every time he celebrates, ridiculous.

 

I've totally changed my mind on him. I remember when I thought he was just an egotistical butthole. He's just a guy that likes to have fun and wants others to enjoy it with him.

 

I think that's the best description of him I've heard. Seriously.

 

What's really sad is in this type of economy the country needs people to actually spend not hang on to their money. Kudos Chad!!!

 

People dont have that money to spend. Like i know in our situation were just paying bills not buying anything that isnt a need.

 

That's the problem with our economy it revolves around consumers spending, when it's best for them to save. People can't spend when they're neck deep in debt. People waste money on too much worthless crap and then end up with no money for things they do need to pay for (mortgage).
