NFL Network's Jason La Canfora reports QB Jay Cutler has agreed to a two-year contract extension with the Chicago Bears, according to a league source. The extension, which would keep the Bears' franchise QB in Chicago through 2013, includes about $20 million guaranteed and roughly $30 million in new money. Source: NFL.com
The Bears brought him here to be the franchise QB. This contract keeps him here longer. He is a top ten QB in the NFL. This is good news.
they feel they finally have their qb and they stood up and paid him. props to the bears front office.
Then there's those that claim Cutlers 4 picks vs the Packers the 1 game of the season didn't cost us the win there either.:icon_rolleyes:
:icon_rolleyes: And the genius play calling with the ball on the one and the great blocking that didn't allow anyone to run and the stupid false start penalty on 4th and one had nothing to do with it right?
