Tom Brady's five touchdown passes in the second quarter of Sunday's game were good enough to earn him AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors. It was the second time this year and the 14th time in his career that Brady earned the accolade. In Sunday's 59-0 defeat of the Titans, Brady completed 29 of 34 pass attempts for 380 yards and six touchdowns and his 345 passing yards in the first half set a Patriots record and shattered his previous personal best of 291 yards. yep, this was a no-brainer. if the jets had won, jones would have gotten an honorable mention but the player's team has to win to be in this conversation.
All I can say is...yup thats right and GO TOM BRADY woot woot! As long as he avoids another screwup like in the superbowl a few years back...well he should be just fine :)
