The boss of NFL UK has said he aims to stage four American Football games a season in London by 2012. At the moment one game from the American league is staged each year at Wembley Stadium, west London. But Alistair Kirkwood told the BBC they hope to stage two games in the city next year and, if successful, double that number by 2012. Mr Kirkwood said: "We are talking to different teams to see who would be willing to do it." "We would like a game at the end of September and another at the end of October. "If we go to two games the next step would be to go to four games per year. I would like to do that after the 2012 Olympics."

Why don't they just have a league in the UK if they want to have football games going on over there?

We do have a league but its not big i should i know i playin it, the high school leagues in america are bigger than here even probally peewee, i mean my team got to the final this season and about only 100-200 people showed up to watch.... people here just really care about the NFL not the little leagues.

GTFO with this bullcrap. If Godell tries this I can see some angry people gathering outside of the NFL HQ.

yeah, it's a nice thought, but tbh I don't want it. Let the NFL where it belong, inside the USA.

If Godell is so excited to bring football over Europe, restart the NFLE and listen to the European belongs this time.

As Kraft said, it's just not fair to the American fans, who have to give up a home game for their team to go to Europe. That's nuts.

Knowing my luck the Bills will have 1 home game in Toronto and 1 home game in London. WooHoo. I don't see them getting 4 game per year but 1 or 2 might work.

    SweetShot03 Fuck stupid people

They should start their own leagues and during the off season maybe hire some of our NFL coaches or players to come over and help train them.

It would be fun if other countries got teams going and then we could involve the NFL into the olympics and just another gold medal for the USA to bring home every 4 years.

I dont think it would be a bad idea to have a game in london, it would a fun chance for players and fans to travel to another country and experience what its like. It will help involve the Brits and surrounding countries to come and experience American football and to jump on the band wagon. To play more than maybe one "Special" game over there is too much for players to handle.

It takes days if not a full week to recover from the Jet lag, when I went to Iraq I was lucky enough to stay on their day flight which was our n ight time, and I work nights here so I wasnt having to stay up at irregular times, but there was still some amount of Jet lag and it hit me hard........

Just my opinion, someone might have a different insight. I know that I would be psyched to get the chance to go to england for a game...... I would love to go to england.
