The wife of former Tennessee Titans general manager Floyd Reese (who now works for the Patriots as a senior adviser) criticized the Titans organization on a radio show Thursday. "My husband just went along and did his job and everything was just fine and one day he went to work and said, 'Gee, after 21 years we're going in a different direction,' " Sally Reese said on Nashville station WGFX, according to an account of her comments in the Nashville City Paper. "Floyd still kind of didn't get that.... Now what I read and I hear all that stuff. My husband was totally oblivious. All he did was his job." Sally Reese said that her husband kept Titans Coach Jeff Fisher from being fired twice. She also said she was glad to see the New England Patriots beat the Titans, 59-0, last Sunday. "I was hoping they'd run it to 100," Sally Reese said, according to the account in the City Paper. "And I love Tennessee. All you Tennessee people, my dad's from Tennessee. But when you get sucker punched, you want to sucker punch back. My husband said it would be very uncool. He said, 'We have to play them again.' I said, 'I only hope.' " Source: Washington Post
"Sally Reese said that her husband kept Titans Coach Jeff Fisher from being fired twice" ................. huh? there hasn't been a season that Fisher could justifiably be fired until this year ............. if adams has wanted to fire Fisher before this season, he's definitely going to fire him this year ....................... good luck with your new team Coach Fisher ...........
