49ers Replace QB Shaun Hill With Alex Smith

Alex Smith has replaced Shaun Hill at quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers in the second half of their game at Houston. Hill completed 6 of 11 passes for 45 yards in the first half and San Francisco mustered only 50 total yards and three first downs in the half and trailed 21-0 at the break Sunday. Smith, the top overall pick in 2005, hadn't played since Nov. 12, 2007.

nice move by 49ers, i had just got done saying they were terrible.. [no pass gm] alex smith looking nice so far.

 

what's going to happen now? smith looked alright and the offense seemed to respond to him.................

 

Smith was dominant, will he start next week?

 

crabtree had a nice debut just like i said he would....but davis had a freaking GAME

 

Which was freaking great. It was such an eyeroller to read about him being a bust by so many 49er "fans."

 

It's actually Shaun Hill... Mind want to correct that?

Bout time , we had nothing to lose by benching him and smith responded,maybe we can open up our playbook now and stop running 6 plays like we the damn titans from remember the titans !!:icon_cheesygrin:
