Two games maybe work in the short term, but the high expenses for traveling, hotels food and stuff will stop ppl from other countries to visit the games. Not only the UK fans andy. I knew a lot of ppl from continental Europe who attented one or more games.
Yeah, there seemed to be even more from the continent this year than the last two. There were a lot more Thunder/Dragons/Fire jerseys than Monarchs/Claymores that's for sure. I really hope we don't get a second game, and if there is a second international series game, it better be in Germany, because from what I've seen they are the most committed fans I've seen in the last three years. There's no way Brits would travel in the strength that the Germans have three times. Sorry if the posts don't make sense, I'm still fatigued from yesterday lol.
Am I the only one who found the noise making obnoxious? Atmosphere was fairly crap, I agree, I was near some of Olly's fellow countrymen who were very drunk and in love with one cheerleader.
The noise making was pretty embarrassing, but then again, so was quite a lot of play on the field... And the Atmosphere I'd say is similiar to a Superbowl Crowd, which is about right as it's a neutral crowd. Supposedly one of the York's was at the Tailgate, which doesn't sound good for the strong contingent of 49er fans on here.
The best bit from my point was that when the game was over and it was even more stale than at the beginning the guy infront of me had zoomed in on one cheerleader on his video camera and was watching her lol..and frnakly i didnt blame him one bit When you see someone wearing stuff from 3 different teams saying he is a saints fan then go and buy a mcnabb jersey and put it over a Reggie Bush one you know you havent exactly got a big/knowledgable fan base Close to the superbowl crowd? not a chance they actually make noise
