Chicago Bears to have halftime tribute to Walter Payton at Sunday's game

Sunday marks the 10th anniversary of the death of Walter Payton. The family originally had planned to unveil and donate a statue of the Hall of Fame running back at Soldier Field when the Bears play host to the Cleveland Browns.

It's hard to believe this sunday will be ten years since he passed away.

 

You know DB I actually thought it was longer than that.
I'll have to visit Walters round house for a cold on in honor of Sweetness.
It's been too long since I've been there. I live very close to it.

I remember hearing the sad news on tv on November 1, 1999. This world lost a great man.

I'd like to be at Paytons round house at halftime. Maybe I'll go but I'll bet it will be crowded.
