In the aftermath of his team's fourth straight defeat, 49ers head coach Mike Singletary looked at the game tape of the 34-27 loss to Tennessee and professed satisfaction with the play of Alex Smith and the offensive line, even though the quarterback had four turnovers and was sacked four times. Always emotional after games and sometimes all but overwrought in defeat, the 49ers' coach takes his time to review the game before making his day-after comments to reporters. "I thought Alex did a good job throwing the football," Singletary said Monday. "Overall, I thought the offensive line did a good job," Singletary said. "I was very energized when I came in and watched the film last night. ... For the most part, it was one of the better offensive performances since I've been here. Take away the turnovers, we had a chance to win a game. It didn't happen that way. We did have the turnovers." Source: San Francisco Chronicle
Singletary will get the win sunday against the Bears. I'm sure he's disgraced about the Bears defense compared to the '85-'86 Bears team he was on.
