The San Francisco 49ers are mired in a four-game losing streak after a nice start to the season but that hasn’t taken away any of their swagger, at least when it comes to tight end Vernon Davis. They are gearing up to host the Chicago Bears Thursday night in the kickoff to the NFL Network’s coverage of games this fall, and it’s apparent that Davis has had ample time to watch plenty of tape on the Bears vs. say Arizona and Cincinnati. “I think we can destroy their guys up front,’’ Davis told Bay Area reporters earlier today. “I don't see anything spectacular about their front line. Their LB’s, I think we can handle them pretty well. Should anyone on this team really be talking crap? Especially when talking crap on opposing Defensive Lines! I don't care if its the god **mn Tooele, UT high school defensive line with 3 starters benched for swine flu, they will probably get pressure against our swiss cheese front.
