Mild-mannered coach Rex Ryan lit into his team toward the end of practice Thursday, set off by the same type of mistakes that have cost the Jets games this season. Ryan erupted when the offense sputtered during one of the final drills of practice. He told the team he’s tired of excuses. ‘‘The biggest thing is we’re at a point now that through eight games and a bye week, there’s no more room for excuses,’’ said fullback Tony Richardson. ‘‘Rex doesn’t want to hear, ‘but this happened, but that happened.’ Forget that. He’s ready to roll. I think he wants to put some pads on and go play himself. Obviously, he can’t do that and he’s relying on us and we want to go out and play well on Sunday.’’ Source: Newark Star Ledger
I agree...it's only a matter of time before he gives us all a Jim Mora/Dennis Green/Herman Edwards style meltdown...
