Titans Owner Bud Adams Fined $250K By Roger Goodell

The NFL has fined Titans owner Bud Adams $250,000 for making an obscene gesture at Buffalo fans while celebrating Tennessee's victory over the Bills. Commissioner Roger Goodell notified Adams of the fine Monday, and league spokesman Greg Aiello said it is for conduct detrimental to the NFL. Adams was seen making the gesture while in his luxury suite and again on the field after Sunday's 41-17 victory.

you're confusing me warcry. you want to allow bud adams to have his 'freedoms' to act like this when he promised his private organization (the nfl) that he would not behave this way. Yet you're ok with the U.S. courts/government telling a private organization what they can name themselves even though when the private organization named themselves there was no law in this country saying what they could/couldn't name themselves? :icon_scratch:

when did the Boston Redskins ask any Native Americans that it was ok for them to have that slur of a name? Native Americans should have a voice in the matter. just like Bud Adams should be able 2 put up his birds when he feels like it.
