Although the Texans are 5-4 and off this weekend, owner Bob McNair isn't unhappy with the way they are playing in Gary Kubiak's fourth season as the coach. "I'm pleased with the way we're playing," McNair said. "I think we're a very good team, but we're not an elite team. We've got to eliminate mental errors before we become an elite team. Clearly, once we do that, we'll be an elite team." After losing the opener to the Jets, the Texans have lost their last three on their last play. In each of their losses to Jacksonville, Arizona and Indianapolis, they had a chance to force overtime on their last play but failed.

yep, they're doing ok. their defense is still a problem. the question at this point is 'if the texans finish with 8 or 9 wins and miss the playoffs again, will kubiak be fired?'

That's more like it. The defense has been solid outside of those first 3 games. The offense is really slow to get out of the gate this season though.

true.. it's the offence not the D.

The D keeps us in games.. it's the Offence that can't string two halves together.

I don't see Kubiak getting canned unless we lose 5 of the next 7
